Case Portfolio - Cemented Fixed Implant Bridge

This case involved the replacement of  four missing upper teeth by means of a fixed implant supported bridge, cemented onto three implants. Following the placement of the implants under a local anaesthetic, the overlying temporary denture was modified to avoid any pressure on the implants. 12 weeks after surgery, the initial impressions were taken and after 2 further visits to check the fit, appearance and dental occlusion, the bridge was cemented with light cement. Small gaps between the implants have been left beneath the bridge to allow the patient to clean beneath it using small interdental brushes.
